Tinted Moisturizer Hack

by Caroline Hurley
I'm all about simplifying my life and this holds true when it comes to my make up routine. I'd rather limit myself to five great products than ten okay ones. By now we're all familiar with the tinted moisturizer, bb cream, cc cream, (is there a dd cream now?) craze. I really like the concept of these products.  Since I work from home there isn't a need for me to have full on make up or hair done every day. BUT I feel better about my day if I make a small effort with my hair and make up Read more [...]

An Office Update

Beachy Art

You can't grow up in North Carolina without loving the beach. If you know me you know that my personal style is colorful and summery pretty much all year round. My apartment is no different. It reminds me of a beach house and I love it! One of the ways that I have incorporated coastal accents in my apartment is through beachy art. I know that I am by no means a professional but that's all right by me. I like being able to paint exactly what I'm looking for instead of spending extra time and money Read more [...]

An Easy Pillow Tutorial

by Caroline Hurley
It has been snowing....like a lot. We have had some pretty mild winters the past couple years in NC but we weren't so blessed this year. On Monday we knew it was coming. So we all braced ourselves and headed to the grocery to get our water, bread, and milk fix to settle in for this storm. Around noon on Tuesday there were flurries starting to fall. Patrick and I decided to go fill up my gas tank since it was running low. Well...everyone else in Raleigh had the same idea.  What a nice guy I Read more [...]
